The Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists (SAO) is the professional member organization and regulatory body for Doctors of Optometry in Saskatchewan. Our mission is to foster excellence in the delivery of vision and eye health services in Saskatchewan by providing information, programs and services that promote and enhance Optometry and by licensing and regulating the delivery of optometric care.

The SAO also coordinates an Occupational Vision Care (OVC) Program. The OVC program, designed by optometrists, has been around for over 25 years.  Optometrists are experts in the specialized need of employee's occupational vision and eye health and the OVC Program understands the diversity of modern industry.  Click here for more information on the OVC Program.

Eye See... Eye Learn - The Exciting Childrens Vision Program!

The Eye See...Eye Learn Program is an awareness program designed to educate teachers, children and parents/guardians of the importance of identifying and treating visual problems early so children have a better chance to learn and develop.
